Yep, the two of them had it right!

In honesty, it doesn't matter if you register and than apply or apply and than register. As long as you've posted the form, so I know what name to look for, and there's an account for me to approve, it's all right. (Just make sure you've read everything, as you can only use your email address once and the approval gets sent to your email.)

The guidelines were more to give you something to follow so you don't forget anything. ^^

I said the 13th, because I didn't intend to check back much. But if people wish to apply, you can read under the spoiler and post the form. I can approve people if they join in, I just didn't want people to apply and than wait and be angry because I didn't come online immediately. :3

Heck, as much as it makes me sad when people lurk, I'd rather have you guys around, especially our oldies! ^^

But yea... Ozzy was in contact with us for a while (before I was an Admin), but we've sort of lost contact with her. I had her contact info for a while, but it's out-dated. You'd want to find Aqua and give her a poke... she seems to be the best source for keeping track of Ozzy. ^^

Ozzy has not come over with us to this version of the Clan, however there are members within our borders who keep in contact with her. As a founder of the original Clan, she'll always have a special title and mention within the site.

Not really knowing who you are or why you're asking, I'd probably have to say your guess is as good as others.

Personally, I only sketch, so don't feel nervous. : 3 I don't have the program to digitally color and frankly, whenever I color in something I draw, I like it less. xD; /needs to learn more.

Also - the images in our signatures are called "adoptables". People make a generic pose and than other people request their Dragon in that pose and the artist customizes it. Adoptables are quite popular around this site, so you'll likely see quite a few of different Dragons in the same pose.

Also - please re-check your application post. On this forum, we register using our Dragon's name, not our own. I can not accept your application until you register your Dragon's name.

Hahaha, I know the feeling! xD Speaking as someone who considers themselves mostly RP-based rather than art-based, the artists on this site are kinda awesome. xD But written descriptions work as well! ^^ Heck, my scanner's down, but I don't mind sketching something up for you. : 3 My first... three? main Dragons were drawn by other people before I even attempted it. I just dictated to them and they drew, haha.

Don't let that stop you from joining, though. ^^ While our Dragons may bite... I like to think the members don't... /I'm so lame. xD; The artists on here are also pretty awesome about helping you with drawing if you want to learn. : 3

At the far end of the Clan lies the Hall of Journeys, the acceptance point for the Clan Lands. While before the borders were carefully monitored, a new system seems to be tested. The current members now watch to see who will come be a part of the new Clan. It is time to welcome back returning Clanners and new recruits.

The Application Process

All that is required of the new application process is for you to post the given form on this topic and a Clan Elder will check back and approve you. Simple, no? However, your application will not and can not be processed without the following:

Guidelines:

• First DO NOT post as your Username. That is, as a guest, when you're asked to provide a name for your post, do NOT use your Dragon's name. This will prevent you from being able to use the name to register your Dragon.

• Second: Consider giving us your real email address. When you register, you will be asked for your email address. You will be sent an email when your registered Dragon is approved.Also, if you ever lose your password, it will be emailed to you. Using a valid, reliable email is a good idea.

• Third: Post the form below on this topic. The words in italics are an explanation of the form.

Your Name: (Your Online Alias or Real Name - the name YOU want to be referred to by.)
Your Dragon's Name: (Your Dragon's full name or nickname.)
Who Referred You: (If someone referred you, post their real name/online username here.)
Username: We changed the rules so you can sign up as your name or your dragon's. If you sign up under your name you will get a gold coloring to differentiate. Note if you sign up as your dragon name you will be referred to (for lists and formal things) as DragonName[Name]. Otherwise you will be referred to as Name[OA]. We don't do nicknames (for lists/exc), so please keep this in mind when picking a username.

• Fourth: Register your Dragon. (Click here for a screen shot.) This may either be your name, your nickname, your Dragon's full name, your Dragon's nickname - that is up to you. Click here to register your account!

Once you've done this - you're all set! A Clan Elder will look over your application to make certain everything was done correctly and than you will be accepted! Simple as that. Thank you for reading over this and we look forward to having you join the Clan!
